Valuing meaningful relationships, I love creating lasting memories through soulful photography. My heart lies especially in women’s portrait sessions —capturing quiet strength, feminine energy, and personal transformation. These sessions are designed to honour who you are, beyond the surface.
Alongside this, I also bring years of experience photographing couples in love, mums-to-be, and families—always with a warm, intentional approach.
Choosing the right photographer to bring your vision to life is so important. If my style speaks to you, I’d be delighted to connect. I treasure each unique story and truly enjoy building close bonds with the women and families I photograph. Everyone I work with holds a special place in my heart.
I’m based on the North Shore of Auckland, in our beautiful corner of Aotearoa, New Zealand.

This portrait photography session is designed to honour something deeper than appearance, capturing the essence of your inner world. It offers a calm, intentional space for women to be seen without pressure or performance. No expectations. Just you, as you are—natural, honest, and present.
This idea was born from a personal shift—a need to create work that felt meaningful, not just polished. While studying Human Design, I began to see people differently. Not only how they looked, but how they moved through life. And I wanted my photography to reflect that.
These two-hour black&white personalised photoshoots are a gentle return to self —in all that you’ve lived and all that you’re becoming.

For those looking for an outdoor lifestyle photoshoot on the beach, I offer a range of sessions, from mini-sessions to 1 hour couples, family and maternity photoshoots.
I specialise in capturing your genuine connections in documentary style. You will be walking, laughing, playing and running around, so expect lots of fun! However, we will also capture some nicely posed shots, where I will guide you if needed. My photography style focuses on emotions and plenty of details, ensuring that each image resonates for years to come.

Irena is extremely friendly and asked if we had any specific shots, or shoot locations in mind. We left it completely up to her and that was the best decision ever! Sunrise photoshoot at the beach can be tricky with the tide timings…but she took charge and followed up until the very last evening before the shoot to make sure we get there at the right time, for the best shots!
